AI Sales Livechat
Your web chat now takes a visitor from question to checkout.
This one changes what your visitors can do.
Your website chat widget is rebuilt around your AI agent. A visitor can now browse, compare, add to cart, check out and track an order without leaving the conversation.
For your team, the gap between “a shopper asked a question” and “a shopper bought something” just got a lot smaller. For the business, the chat starts converting instead of handing off to a person from your team.
What changes for your team
Your visitors used to ask a question in the chat, get an answer, and then get sent back to the site to browse, compare and buy on their own. That’s where a lot of them dropped off.
Now the deciding part of shopping happens inside the conversation.
A visitor can:
- Search by tapping a ready-made option, typing, speaking (if you turn it on), or attaching a PNG/JPEG to show what they mean.
- Browse swipeable product cards or a list view, each with its own Add to Cart.
- Open full product details. Gallery, variants with real stock, a quantity picker that won’t let them over-order, and reviews.
- Compare two or more products side by side on the attributes that matter. Add to cart from there.
- See their cart itemized with quantities and a subtotal, then check out via a handoff to your store’s checkout, prefilled with what they gave in chat.
- Track an order afterward. A stage-by-stage delivery timeline, with a picker when several orders match.
And the conversation now survives. No timeout. A visitor can reload, navigate away, leave the tab open for hours, and come back to the same conversation with the same cart. The old 30-minute idle clear is gone.
What your agents will see — The chat now resolves more product and order-status questions on its own, so fewer land in the shared inbox. When a conversation does need a person, it arrives with full context, the same as before.
Before and after
| Capability | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Finding a product | A carousel of cards, nothing more | Swipeable cards or a list, with full details, variants, live stock and reviews behind each |
| Adding to cart | Not possible from the chat | Add to cart from a card or a comparison, kept in step with your store’s cart |
| Comparing options | Not possible | Two or more products side by side on the attributes that matter |
| Discount codes | No dedicated place for them | Delivered as a card the visitor copies in one tap |
| Order tracking | Not possible in the chat | A stage-by-stage delivery timeline, with a picker when several match |
| Voice input | Widget could only play audio it received | Visitors speak, and it’s transcribed into the message box |
| Languages | One language. No Arabic, no right-to-left | English and Arabic, whole layout mirrored, plus your own copy per language |
| Appearance | A fixed theme, light and dark identical | Light, dark or match-browser, your colors throughout, a launcher you size, place and skin |
| First screen | A list of channels, always shown | Your greeting and logo, up to five topics, channels on your business hours |
| Leaving the page | Conversation cleared after 30 minutes idle | No timeout. Conversation and cart are still there on return |
| Attachments | Up to 15 MB across images, audio, video, PDF and Office files | PNG and JPEG images only (when enabled) |
What differs by platform
The shopping features (browsing, comparison, cart, checkout handoff, order tracking) work on Shopify, Salla and Zid, with more platforms coming.
One thing to brief your team on: order tracking searches by different details depending on the store.
| Platform | Order tracking searchable by |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Order ID, email or phone |
| Salla | Order ID or phone |
| Zid | Order ID only |
On Salla, asking for an email won’t find the order. On Zid, only the order ID will.

How to set it up
Every screen previews live (desktop and mobile) as you work.
Look and feel
- Open your live chat widget settings. Go to your widget and open its configuration page. Everything below lives here.
- Set your theme and colors. Under Global Styles, pick Light Theme, Dark Theme, or Match Browser. Set your Brand color and Font & icon color.
- Set the chat window colors. Under Conversation Area, set Bubble color and Font color.
- Set up the launcher. Under Launcher Button, pick its size (or text-only), place it left or right, set how far it sits from the edges, and choose one of five icons or upload your own. Set Button color and Font & icon color. Turn on New Message Indicator if you want unread signals.
- Check the preview. It updates on the right as you go. Switch between desktop and mobile. Save Changes when you’re happy; Discard drops unsaved edits.
Content
- Choose your languages. Open Languages. Under Live Chat Language, select every language you want to write content in. Under Fallback Language, pick the one to show when a visitor’s language can’t be detected. Save. Each content screen now shows a tab per language with a completion count.
- Set up the first screen. Open Home Screen. On the General tab, write your greeting per language. Turn on Brand Logo and choose circular or horizontal. On the Topics tab, add up to five tappable topics. On the Channels tab, choose which other ways to reach you appear (always, only in business hours, or only outside them). Save.
- Collect visitor details. Open Pre-chat Form and turn it on. Write the headline and sub-line per language tab. Under Fields, pick up to three (full name, email, phone), marking any as required. Save.
- Set the welcome popup. Open Welcome Popup. Write the message per language tab. Under Delay Before Showing, choose immediate, 3s, 5s, or 10s. Turn on Show Popup on Mobile if you want it on phones. Save.
Inputs
Choose what visitors can send. In your widget settings, turn on image uploads (PNG/JPEG) if you want visitors to attach photos. Turn on voice input if you want them to speak instead of type. Save.
Install
- On a supported platform, open Installations and install the plugin. No code; the widget appears automatically.
- On a custom site, open Installations, select Copy Code, paste the snippet before the closing body tag, and reload. The widget appears in the position you configured.
Then try it yourself in a real conversation before a visitor does.

Limits
Payment happens in your store, not in the chat. The widget hands the visitor to your store’s checkout with the cart and their details prefilled. They pay there. The chat does not take payment itself.
Product comparison can’t be switched off yet. If the agent judges it useful, it will compare. For now, the only way to prevent it is to instruct the agent not to in its instructions.
Sessions no longer time out, which is a feature, not a limit. But if anything in your setup depended on the old 30-minute clear, it’s gone.
FAQ
Do I have to rebuild my widget? No. It’s the same widget, redesigned. Look through your styles, languages and first screen, since there’s more to configure now.
Does payment happen inside the chat? No. The visitor pays on your store’s checkout, prefilled with the cart and details they gave in the chat.
Can I stop the agent comparing products? Not with a switch today. Instruct the agent not to compare in its instructions if you don’t want it.
Does the conversation survive if the visitor leaves? Yes. No timeout anymore. It survives a refresh, navigation, or leaving the tab open. The cart stays in step with your store’s cart even while the chat is closed.
What can visitors send? PNG and JPEG images, when enabled — plus voice input, transcribed into the message box, when enabled.
Which languages does it support? English and Arabic in the widget itself, with the whole layout mirrored for Arabic. You write your own copy (greeting, pre-chat form, welcome popup) per language you enable.
Can the agent find an order from an email? Only on Shopify. On Salla it’s an order ID or phone. On Zid, order ID only.
Does this add work for my team? The setup does; the ongoing doesn’t. Configuring the widget takes a pass through the screens above. After that, the chat handles more on its own and less lands in the inbox.
